Vaco is partnering with a growing, private equity-backed manufacturing organization to find a Director of Accounting & Finance for their facility in Gap, PA. This is a direct-hire, fully onsite role designed for a hands-on financial leader who thrives in operational environments.
The organization is currently evolving its finance structure and seeks a leader to strengthen accounting discipline, enhance operational reporting, and support plant leadership with actionable financial insights. The ideal candidate will enjoy building structure, elevating teams, and serving as a trusted partner to site leadership while ensuring the business unit's financial health.
The Role in Context
As the Director of Accounting & Finance, you will lead financial operations at the business-unit level. This position is critical for translating financial results into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders and establishing robust internal controls. You will work closely with Operations and Supply Chain teams to support cost control, productivity, and profitability initiatives, ensuring the finance function drives value in an industrial setting.

Requirements

Nice to Have
CPA or MBA. Experience in a private equity–backed or growth-oriented organization. Exposure to multi-site or decentralized finance structures.
