The Wisconsin Laborers' District Council (WLDC) represents over 10,000 construction craft laborers across Wisconsin and is part of the Laborers' International Union of North America (LIUNA). Founded in 1901, our mission is to support members and their families through services that promote safety, financial stability, and long-term well-being.
We operate a small, collaborative office team of four employees in DeForest, WI. This environment is fast-paced and deeply connected to the local construction community, requiring staff who can adapt quickly while maintaining high standards of accuracy and service.
We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting & Administrative Specialist to join our DeForest office. This hands-on position serves as a critical bridge between union members, contractors, and internal operations. You will combine accounting, administrative support, and member services to ensure the smooth functioning of our daily activities.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with strong communication skills. Beyond the day-to-day tasks, this role offers a clear long-term growth path toward Office Manager responsibilities as part of a planned succession strategy within the organization.
