About the Organization

North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) is a private, non-profit agency contracted with the State of California, Department of Developmental Services. Since 1974, we have proudly served the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and Antelope Valley. As one of the largest regional centers in California, we provide essential services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the entire lifespan—from infants and toddlers to school-age children, transition-age youth, adults, and aging adults.

About the Role

As a Junior Accountant, you will serve as a vital support to our accounting team, performing complex accounting and budgeting functions under the general supervision of the Accounting Supervisor. This role is designed for someone who thrives on accuracy and enjoys the rhythm of month-end closings. You will be responsible for maintaining departmental budgets, reconciling bank accounts to the general ledger, and preparing complex monthly billing reports. A key part of your day will involve training internal staff on proprietary accounting software, coding, and procedures, as well as assisting with audit field work and internal audits. You will also act as a point of contact for vendors regarding rate increase requests, ensuring clear communication and support throughout the process.
