The Redesign Group is a global technology solutions consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations modernize, secure, and scale their IT infrastructure. We are currently expanding our Strategic Accounts team to support our most critical clients.
About the Role
As an Account Systems Engineer (ASE), you will serve as a trusted technical advisor responsible for owning and developing deep technical relationships with our most strategic customers. This high-impact, customer-facing role is designed for individuals who prefer to go deep with a small set of key accounts rather than managing a high-volume transactional sales pipeline.
In this position, you will act as the technical owner for approximately 5–10 strategic accounts within the California, Nevada, or broader West Coast region. Your primary focus will be building deep trust with customer engineers and architects, spending significant time on-site and virtually to understand their business objectives, technical environments, challenges, and long-term goals. You will translate these needs into tailored multi-vendor infrastructure architectures and drive long-term customer success and expansion.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleDevelop and maintain detailed account documentation, architecture diagrams, and roadmaps
- check_circleIdentify expansion opportunities within existing accounts to drive account growth
- check_circleContribute field feedback to internal teams to shape offerings and engagement models
- check_circleAct as technical owner for 5-10 strategic accounts to build deep customer trust
- check_circleLead discovery sessions, technical demonstrations, POCs, and technical workshops with stakeholders
- check_circleCoordinate technical support and implementation details to accelerate sales cycles
Requirements
- verifiedBased in California, Nevada, or the broader West Coast region
- verifiedProven pre-sales, consulting, or technical account experience
- verifiedStrong understanding of enterprise technologies including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- verifiedIndustry certifications relevant to infrastructure technologies (e.g., networking, cloud, storage)
