The QC Analyst serves as a critical guardian of the credit union's fraud and AML/BSA program. This position goes beyond simple review; it ensures that every alert, investigation, and Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) meets rigorous regulatory expectations and internal standards. By acting as a liaison between retail and member-facing departments, the analyst bridges the gap between operational execution and compliance strategy.
In this role, you will not only validate the accuracy of investigative work but also actively shape the team's capabilities. You will provide coaching to investigators, identify emerging fraud trends, and prepare high-level reporting for senior leadership. The position requires a balance of analytical rigor and interpersonal skill, as you will support training efforts, handle sensitive cases, and serve as a subject matter resource for frontline teams navigating complex fraud prevention protocols.
