About the Role

The Direct Claims Account Manager serves as the central point of contact for monitoring, reviewing, and coordinating activities surrounding complex environmental, asbestos, and latent claims. This role is critical for ensuring the resolution of coverage issues and the establishment of adequate reserves.

In this position, you will analyze and investigate new loss notices and claim tenders, working closely with policy search teams to locate relevant coverage documentation. You will be responsible for positioning claims under primary, umbrella, and excess coverage frameworks while coordinating defense strategies with insured parties, counsel, and participating carriers.

Your day-to-day involves proactively managing the case resolution process, including active participation in mediations and collaboration with the reinsurance department to handle account updates and inquiries. You will also work alongside in-house legal and management teams to handle declaratory judgment actions, manage settlement valuations, and ensure timely processing of payments with proper policy allocation. Success in this role requires balancing strategic case management with meticulous documentation and adherence to established guidelines.

Hiring Process
