What We Do

The Ada County Clerk's Office serves the community through five key divisions: Court Clerks, Recorders, Auditors, Elections, and Community Programs. From voting and filing court documents to obtaining marriage licenses and researching property tax expenditures, our work touches nearly every aspect of county life. Our mission is to ensure that Ada County citizens have a smooth and efficient experience with our office.

About the Role

This position is a critical component of the Ada County Trash Billing Services department. You will perform the full range of clerical tasks involved in maintaining the financial status of the department. This role is not just about numbers; it is about being the front-facing contact for the public. You will explain trash service standards and requirements to residential and commercial customers while managing their accounts.

You will handle the receipt and calculation of funds, post revenue items to customer accounts, and act as a problem solver for billing inquiries and adjustments. In this capacity, you will make independent decisions regarding financial record-keeping and may supervise Account Clerks I. The work involves a blend of detailed financial auditing, customer service, and fiscal reporting to ensure the department operates efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
