Join our team in assisting the Division of Unclaimed Funds as we work to reunite citizens with their forgotten financial assets. This role is crucial for tracking down rightful owners, reviewing financial records, and ensuring strict compliance with state financial regulations. Selected candidates will receive 4 to 6 weeks of fully paid training to prepare for the complexities of the position.
You will serve as a primary point of contact for incoming claimants, corresponding professionally with both claimants and reporting agents. Your work will involve examining, reviewing, and verifying complex claims using in-depth research, as well as analyzing reports and forms submitted alongside claims to maintain flawless data entry.
This is a contract position based in Columbus, OH and/or Reynoldsburg, OH. Candidates must be able to travel to both locations for training and daily work. The schedule runs Monday through Friday during standard business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), comprising a 35-hour workweek. No holidays or weekends are required. The expected start date is June or July, though earlier starts may be possible.
