About the Role

The 2026 Summer Intern - Finance will provide critical operational support to the Hudbay U.S. Business Unit during a period of significant activity across our domestic portfolio. Based in our Tucson office, this role is designed for a motivated student looking to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world industrial finance.

You won't just be observing; you will be an active contributor to the data integrity and organizational framework that supports a multi-site mining business. As a self-starter, you will identify opportunities to automate or simplify current administrative tasks and present fresh ideas to the leadership team. You will also actively participate in team meetings to gain a foundational understanding of the mining life cycle and how finance drives large-scale industrial operations.
