We are seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our Fort Smith, AR team. In this role, you will be a vital part of the patient care experience, performing x-ray testing that requires a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics. You will operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, and prepare rooms with the necessary supplies for procedures.
Beyond radiology, this position blends clinical imaging with Medical Assistant duties. You will be the first point of contact for patients, promptly greeting them in waiting areas and exam rooms while managing communication regarding wait times and treatment steps. Your day will involve obtaining and documenting vital signs, taking patient histories, assisting with patient transfers, and supporting providers during procedures. You will also ensure equipment is functioning correctly and maintain rigorous quality control and radiation safety standards.
