About the Role

The Workplace Facilities Engineer is responsible for operating and maintaining mechanical and critical equipment across three of Santander's Manhattan offices. This role manages occupancy, construction, relocation, and renovation of Santander facilities, overseeing cost estimation, contractor supervision, and budget control.

You will provide full facilities support for building operations, including interior and exterior structures and services. The role involves managing preventive and reactive maintenance for HVAC, UPS/Generators, janitorial, fire systems, and elevators. You will collaborate with business leaders on space planning, workflow, relocations, and renovations, while supporting space allocation planning for current and future properties. Additionally, you will develop asset lifecycle and replacement plans, maintain vendor records, and prepare reports for management.

Working Conditions

Frequent minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking is required for this role. Depending on location, occasional moving and lifting of light equipment and/or furniture may be required.
