Our program brings the region’s experts in geriatric medicine and care together to work as a team in specialized Day Centers, helping older adults enjoy the highest quality of life possible. Our professionals are dedicated to keeping seniors independent and in their homes through a wide range of services including medical care, social services, meals, activities, and transportation.

The Role

As a Van Driver, you will be the vital link connecting our program participants to their community. Your primary mission is to safely transport individuals to and from the day center, their residences, outside appointments, and activities. You will also assist in delivering medical equipment as requested. This role requires more than just driving; it demands a compassionate approach to interacting with participants who may have special mobility needs.

You will function as part of a dedicated team in the Mon Valley area (Rostraver Twp., Belle Vernon), operating on a full-time schedule from 6:45 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Success in this position requires the ability to plan and organize assignments efficiently while remaining flexible and adaptable in stressful situations. You must be mentally alert and possess strong interpersonal skills to deal professionally and diplomatically with participants and staff.

We maintain a drug and alcohol-free workplace. Candidates must be able to pass a DOT physical, and employees in Van Driver and Escort positions are subject to random drug and alcohol testing on a quarterly basis to ensure compliance with our safety policies.
