About the Role

The Welder plays a critical role in our marine and civil construction projects, delivering high-quality fabrication work essential for infrastructure such as jetties, bridges, wharves, seawalls, and retaining structures. This position involves welding and assembling structural steel, pipework, and metal components in both workshop and field-based environments, including challenging settings like over water or in confined spaces.

Success in this role requires strong technical welding ability, a keen eye for detail, and an unwavering commitment to safety and quality. You will be responsible for interpreting detailed prints to layout and fit up components within specified tolerances, setting up and operating welding equipment, and grinding welds to achieve aesthetically appealing finishes. The role also encompasses daily housekeeping, preventative maintenance, and the safe operation of material handling equipment.
