This position is responsible for the daily administration and operation of the warehouse, serving as a pivotal link in ensuring materials are received, stored, shipped, and reported in accordance with established procedures. You will direct and supervise warehouse staff, overseeing the processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.
In this role, you will coach and mentor team members on productivity, quality, safety, and Medline Core Values. Your day-to-day activities include assigning work, monitoring progress, and providing technical guidance on complex issues. You will also assist the warehouse manager in maintaining a safe work environment, ensure inventory accuracy, and audit goods received. Additionally, you will work closely with customer service to resolve warehouse-related issues and provide input into hiring, firing, and performance reviews.
