About the Role
This Warehouse Material Handler position is based in Sorrento Valley, San Diego, and serves as a vital link in managing the physical flow of products, materials, and equipment. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of inventory, including receiving, staging, storage, and shipping. The role requires precision in unpacking and verifying materials against purchase orders, maintaining accurate records, and rejecting unsatisfactory items according to procedural standards.
A typical day involves picking and staging materials for production work orders, packing shipments, and performing cycle counts and item verification. You will work in a dynamic environment that includes cold room operations at -20 degrees, requiring appropriate attire and the ability to handle temperatures safely. The position offers a pathway for growth, with many leads and supervisors having progressed from temporary roles into quality, project management, and supervisory positions.
