VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Warehouse Forklift Driver for a leading organization in Albuquerque. This is a full-time position designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment. The role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with shifts available from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $18.50 per hour.
As a Warehouse Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of daily inventory operations. Your day will involve operating forklifts, motorized pallet stackers, and manual pallet jacks to efficiently load and unload shipments. You will be responsible for picking and staging materials according to shipping documentation, utilizing handheld barcode scanners and other technology to ensure precision.
Beyond physical operations, you will manage intermediate SAP transactions for internal inventory movements and coordinate shipments through various carriers for both Full Truckload (FTL) and Less Than Truckload (LTL) deliveries. Accuracy is paramount; you will perform cycle counts with a target of 85% or greater accuracy and maintain on-time order fulfillment of 90% or greater. The role also emphasizes a strong safety culture, requiring active participation in ESHA programs, entering safety deviations, and adhering strictly to all company safety rules while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
