About the Role

In this facility maintenance position, you will perform and assist with essential maintenance activities for our buildings, equipment, and grounds. Your work ensures that equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely, directly supporting our operations. You will interact effectively with the team, often working with little direction while assisting others to maintain the safest workplace possible.

Day-to-day, you will utilize data from Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to complete preventative maintenance, repairs, and record keeping. You will be responsible for identifying and suggesting improvements to equipment and safety protocols, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and completed on time. This role requires a conscious concern for safety, including reporting unsafe conditions immediately and following strict lock out/tag out procedures.

The environment is dynamic and physically demanding. You will work in a refrigerated warehouse setting, accommodating fluctuating temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit. The role involves operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts and reach trucks, utilizing good hand-eye coordination, and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including insulated clothing and safety harnesses.

Sunday - Wednesday, 11:00am - 9:30pm

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $25.80 per hour, with additional pay based on relevant work experience. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary, including location, education, and experience.
