About the Role

As a Facility Maintenance team member, you will perform and assist with essential maintenance activities for our buildings, equipment, and grounds. Your work ensures that equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely, directly supporting our operations and the safety of our workplace. You will be responsible for using data from Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to complete preventative maintenance and repairs, while maintaining accurate and timely records.

In this role, you will work with minimal direction, assisting others and interacting effectively even in difficult situations. You will be expected to identify and suggest improvements to equipment and safety protocols, ensuring a conscious concern for personal and team safety at all times. Your duties include safely operating and maintaining equipment, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and supporting sanitation by keeping areas clean and neat.

Working Environment

This position operates within a refrigerated warehouse environment, requiring the ability to adjust to fluctuating temperatures and withstand freezing conditions as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit. The role involves working in a noisy environment and may require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed footwear, safety glasses, hard hats, and insulated clothing. You may also need to wear a respirator and Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) if required, and pass a respirator fit test.

The physical demands of the job include independently lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally, as well as the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat on a frequent to continual basis. You must be able to tolerate confined spaces, work at elevated heights with fall protection, and respond to weather emergencies. The role also requires the ability to handle products that may contain food allergens.

Pay Transparency

In accordance with Pay Transparency requirements, the good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position is $21.50 - $25.80 per hour. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
