About the Role
This position serves as a vital link between our warehouse operations and our customers. You will provide essential customer service through the delivery and pick-up of parts and other products, ensuring that orders are handled with precision and care. The role is a hybrid of logistics and operations, with the delivery function accounting for approximately 50% of your time.
In this role, you will manage the flow of goods from the warehouse to the customer. Your day will involve pulling and organizing orders based on picking tickets, loading materials securely to prevent damage during transit, and executing efficient delivery routes. You will also handle returns and cores, ensuring they are tagged and returned to the branch correctly. Beyond delivery, you will support warehouse operations by stocking inventory, maintaining storage areas, and operating industrial forklifts to transport materials between loading, unloading, and processing zones. Safety and compliance are paramount; you will conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service, and ensure all equipment and storage areas meet safety regulations.
