Founded in 1946, Amoskeag Beverages is deeply rooted in New Hampshire history and stands as the state's largest beverage wholesaler. We distribute over 7 million cases to more than 3,000 accounts, employing over 250 people to deliver the highest quality domestic, import, craft, and non-alcoholic beverages. Our warehouse team is a close-knit group of over 25 employees working in a fast-paced environment to ensure products reach stores throughout the entire state.
About the Role
This is a highly physical, full-time position designed for those seeking a career away from a desk. As a Warehouse Associate, you will partner with a supportive team to select products and configure them on pallets for delivery. The role is essential to our mission of getting beverages to our customers efficiently.
You will work independently while relying on team support, utilizing voice-pick technology to select cases and ensuring products are handled carefully to minimize damage. A key part of your day involves building stable pallets with varying product sizes, adhering to a "first in, first out" method to reduce waste, and safely operating ride-on pallet jacks on the pick floor. No prior warehouse or industrial equipment experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training and certification for all equipment and safety protocols.
Working Conditions & Culture
The role takes place in a warehouse environment subject to varying elements. Safety is paramount; associates must wear safety toe shoes at all times and practice proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
