About the Role

In this non-supervisory role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, responsible for the loading of will call customers and the loading/unloading of steel, rebar, and other construction materials. You will provide support for a wide variety of warehouse duties while always maintaining a safe working environment.

Your day will involve receiving and loading shipments while verifying material accuracy, moving parts and materials with a forklift and by hand, and assisting customers with truck loads and stocking. You will work cooperatively with fellow team members to accomplish warehouse goals, perform housekeeping tasks to ensure work areas are clean and free of hazards, and promptly inform leadership of any shortages, overages, or damaged materials.

This position requires constant work performed outdoors with potential exposure to natural weather elements such as heat, cold, sunlight, darkness, wind, rain, lightning, snow, and dust. You will frequently operate a forklift and be constantly active, standing, walking, bending, lifting, and climbing on or off of semi-truck beds.
