About the Role
This PAM Engineer role is designed to be more than just a maintenance position; it is a strategic leadership opportunity within our security infrastructure. You will serve as the technical authority for our privileged access management ecosystem, managing and enhancing our Delinea-based platforms. Beyond daily operations, you will guide the PAM program's roadmap, drive standardization, and mentor engineers to elevate our operational maturity.
Your day will involve a blend of hands-on engineering and strategic planning. You will integrate complex IT systems—including databases, ServiceNow, and network devices—with our PAM vault, ensuring seamless credential management and rotation. You will collaborate with network, security, and application teams to resolve incidents, optimize system health, and implement automation that reduces manual effort. As a technical leader, you will influence architecture decisions, lead major initiatives like platform migrations, and ensure our capabilities align with enterprise security objectives and business needs.

We offer flexibility to support your work-life balance. At Synchrony, you have the option to work from home near one of our Hubs or come into one of our offices. You will be required to commute to the nearest Hub for in-person engagement activities, such as weekly business or team meetings, training, and culture events.

Requirements
