Truth Initiative, the nation's largest nonprofit public health organization, is dedicated to preventing youth and young adult nicotine addiction and empowering quitting for all. We are engaging an independent Contractor to produce video content for our digital platforms, with a strong focus on our social media channels for Truth Initiative and the EX Program. The goal is to translate complex public health information into clear, compelling content for our key audiences.
Most video shoots will take place at Truth Initiative's office in Washington DC to ensure access to production equipment and brand-consistent locations. Pre-production meetings, brainstorm sessions, and other collaborative meetings will also occur at the office to support fruitful ideation. Outside of these scheduled shoots and meetings, the Contractor will determine their own schedule and work location.
This is a 12-week contract with the potential to extend by mutual written agreement. As an independent Contractor, you are not an employee of Truth Initiative and will not receive employee benefits, participate in benefit plans, or be eligible for workers' compensation. You are responsible for all applicable taxes, insurance, and equipment necessary to complete the deliverables. You are free to perform work for other clients during the term of this engagement.
