As a Veterinary Technician Shift Lead (RVT) in Durham, NC, you will work alongside pet health care industry experts to make a difference in the lives of the pets and clients we serve. This role affords you the opportunity to utilize your veterinary knowledge, communication skills, and love for pets while defining a clear career path for continued growth and learning.
In this position, you will act as the extra eyes, ears, and hands for the veterinarian to ensure the best quality pet care and maximize productivity. You will manage the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior care, assist incoming and outgoing clients with documentation and instructions, and maintain accurate financial balances. As a leader, you will support the Practice Manager in developing an efficient, productive hospital team, triage the treatment board, and assist in identifying and removing operational bottlenecks. You will also train and mentor new paraprofessional associates, ensuring the team adheres to Banfield protocols and delivers world-class preventive care.
