About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAdminister medications via IV, SQ, IM, and oral routes as prescribed
- check_circlePlace and maintain intravenous catheters and perform venipuncture
- check_circleMonitor anesthesia during surgical and dental cases including induction and recovery
- check_circleAssist veterinarians during surgical procedures and maintain sterile technique
- check_circlePerform dental prophylaxis and obtain veterinary dental radiographs
- check_circlePerform in-house diagnostics including bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal testing
- check_circleAssist with digital radiography positioning and ensure image quality
- check_circleEducate clients on post-operative care, dental health, and preventive care
- check_circleMaintain accurate and detailed medical records within the practice management system
- check_circleSupport efficient workflow and collaborate closely with veterinarians and team members
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or GED
- verified1–2+ years of hands-on experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant
- verifiedCredentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) or eligibility for licensure
Nice to Have
Experience with veterinary dental prophylaxis and dental radiography. Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) or eligibility for licensure. Experience in a high-quality small animal general practice. Familiarity with veterinary practice management software (PIMS). Interest in advanced dentistry, surgery, or anesthesia.
