Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage patient flow, schedule appointments, and handle client admissions and discharges
- check_circleMonitor and document patient vital signs including weight, temperature, heart rate, and respiration
- check_circleMaintain surgical instruments, autoclaves, and dental equipment
- check_circlePerform animal restraint, muzzle application, and safe handling of canines and felines
- check_circleManage client interactions to resolve challenging situations and foster positive relationships
- check_circleMonitor anesthetized patients' vital signs and assist with emergency procedures like CPR
- check_circlePerform dental prophylaxis, nail trims, ear flushes, and anal gland expression
- check_circleAssist with surgical procedures including patient preparation, instrument setup, and sterile protocol adherence
- check_circleAdminister injections, vaccines, and medications under direct veterinary supervision
- check_circleCollect and prepare lab samples, perform SNAP tests, and operate IDEXX diagnostic equipment
- check_circleProvide client education on treatment plans, estimates, and pet care instructions
- check_circleClean, disinfect, and maintain cat rooms, kennels, runs, and isolation wards
Requirements
