About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our close-knit team in a full-time, 5/8 schedule (Monday through Friday). This role is ideal for a professional who is confident in their technical skills, takes initiative, and enjoys playing a central role in both patient care and the overall flow of the hospital.

In this position, you will support surgical and dental procedures from preparation through recovery, assisting with anesthesia and patient monitoring to ensure a smooth workflow. You will manage treatment and exam room flow by preparing patients and equipment, gathering histories, and anticipating the needs of the veterinary team. Additionally, you will independently carry out key clinical tasks such as venipuncture, radiology, laboratory sample collection, and administering medications. As a key point of communication for clients, you will provide education, review treatment plans, and deliver clear discharge instructions.
