Veterinary Assistant

About the Role

For those who want to put their love of pets into action, there are few jobs more rewarding than that of a Veterinary Assistant at Banfield Pet Hospital. As a key member of the hospital team, you will support and assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians, ensuring the safety of pets, clients, and associates while maintaining the continuity of quality veterinary care.

You will advocate for pets and educate clients on all aspects of pet health, from preventive care to our Optimum Wellness Plans®. Your day-to-day involves providing professional, efficient, and exceptional service to ensure clients and pets feel comfortable. You will use your technical skills within state practice acts and NAVTA guidelines to help maintain patient flow, set up procedures, and keep treatment areas clean and organized. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor other members of the hospital team.
