Veterinary Assistant

About the Role

For those who want to put their love of pets into action, there are few jobs more rewarding than that of a Veterinary Assistant at Banfield Pet Hospital. As a key member of the hospital team, you will support and assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians, ensuring the safety of pets, clients, and associates while maintaining the continuity of quality veterinary care.

You will advocate for pets and educate clients on all aspects of pet health, from preventive care to our Optimum Wellness Plans®. Whether you are a new assistant, have years of experience, or are changing careers, you will work closely with other pet health care professionals to provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service. Your daily work will involve maintaining patient flow, setting up procedures, and mentoring team members, all while adhering to state practice acts and NAVTA guidelines.
