We are seeking an Associate (or Vice President, depending on experience) to join the US REIT Research Team in New York. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who will work closely with Senior Analysts to lead the production of company and industry research. The position is pivotal in translating quantitative financial conclusions into compelling written reports, charts, and graphs that drive client decision-making.
In this hybrid role, you will take the lead on critical functions including financial modeling to forecast company results, maintaining industry databases, and spearheading the process of turning research ideas into actionable reports. You will also be expected to drive AI-related initiatives within the team. The day-to-day involves a dynamic balance between periods of heavy financial modeling and assignments requiring strong qualitative writing and presentation skills. You will interact regularly with the research sales force, trading desks, firm clients, and company contacts.
Candidates should expect to demonstrate technical proficiency through a modeling and written test as part of the recruiting process. This assessment is designed to verify the ability to create complex, yet easily understandable financial models and to translate financial analyses into high-quality visual representations.

Experience in healthcare services, broader financial services, CMBS research, or working at a REIT in a strategy/corporate development/financial analysis role. Possession of an MBA or CPA. Passing Level 2 of the CFA. Experience in AI-related initiatives.
