The Unit Field Trainer serves as the first level of management within the Branch Sales Office. This position is pivotal in shaping the team's success by leading the recruitment, onboarding, and on-the-job training of sales agents. Beyond managing a downline of agents and ensuring their compliance with policies and procedures, the role requires maintaining personal production standards to set a benchmark for the team.
In this capacity, you will provide day-to-day guidance, consultation, and mentoring to help agents develop effective production strategies. The role involves active participation in management team meetings to support the Branch Sales Office in meeting its stated goals. You will also facilitate licensing training for other agents and may engage in recruiting efforts as assigned by the branch.
A significant portion of your time will be spent in the field conducting on-the-job training through joint work with new agents. This includes sharing appointments and navigating commission splits to ensure new hires gain practical experience. You will balance the dual demands of managing your own production goals while actively mentoring your team to achieve theirs.
Candidates with a high school degree (Bachelor's degree preferred) and 1-3 years of experience in an insurance agent position are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills and a results-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
