About the Role
As an Underground Utility Locator, you will enjoy the freedom of outdoor work while ensuring the safety of the excavation, landscaping, and construction communities. You will drive a company vehicle to job sites, utilizing computer utility maps and specialized equipment to locate underground cables, pipes, and other utilities to prevent damages.
This role is ideal for problem-solvers who are not afraid of hard work and prioritize quality. You will be trained to handle routine ticket requests, emergencies, and relocates, communicating utility locations via paint and flags to excavation personnel and authorities. The position involves responding to after-hours emergency call-outs as part of an established rotation schedule.
