As an Ultrasound Technician within the Diagnostic Imaging department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while adhering to strict study protocols and Good Clinical Practices (GCPs). This position is designed to ensure the efficient and safe execution of imaging examinations, ranging from abdominal and vascular studies to echocardiograms.
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for patients, providing clear explanations of procedures, answering questions, and ensuring a professional, positive experience. Your day-to-day involves managing the flow of patients through the schedule, maintaining equipment and supply inventory, and ensuring all electronic and paper documentation is accurate and compliant with company policies. You will also support study operations by facilitating questionnaires and reviewing informed consent forms.
This position operates under standard office and clinical conditions. The role requires a blend of technical precision and physical stamina, including the ability to stand, sit, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. You will work with computer peripherals, specialized software, and office equipment, often engaging in extended periods of phone communication. Flexibility is key, as the role may require extended hours, weekends, and occasional travel or driving to assigned clinics.
