Truck Driver - OTR - CDL-A

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Drivers to transport freight safely and efficiently across long distances, including multi-state routes. This position is designed for professionals who thrive on the open road and take pride in meeting scheduled delivery deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.

As an OTR driver, you will operate a Class A commercial tractor-trailer, ensuring all pickups and deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You will serve as the primary link between the warehouse and the customer, communicating regularly with dispatch regarding route status, delays, and delivery updates.

Your Day on the Road

Your day begins with thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. During transit, you will maintain accurate electronic logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation, mileage records, and delivery documentation. You will follow all Hours of Service requirements and safety standards, properly securing cargo to prevent damage or loss during transit.

Communication is key to your success. You will stay in touch with dispatch throughout each trip, promptly reporting any accidents, traffic incidents, or mechanical issues. Your ability to adhere to strict safety regulations and manage extended time on the road will ensure smooth operations from start to finish.
