About the Role
In this role, you will plan your day, set priorities, and work with your team to keep freight moving safely and on time. You will communicate clearly, solve problems as they arise, and adapt to changes on the road or in the plan. Your responsibilities include handling all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately, following all DOT, state, and company guidelines, and safely operating your tractor-trailer by inspecting it before, during, and after each trip.
You will run optimized routes by following traffic laws and local restrictions, reducing delays and improving on-time delivery performance. This is a career where you uphold Walmart's high standards of safety and professionalism.
