About the Role
Ready to put your truck-driving career in high gear? As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will join a team of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time. You will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and advanced safety features, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras.
In this floater role, your schedule will vary based on coverage needs, typically running Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays. You may be assigned to AM or PM shifts based on a monthly shift bid. Your primary mission involves shuttling auto parts with an average of 24 stops per week. Beyond the road, you will maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers, representing both Penske and your clients. Many drivers will operate branded trucks and wear client uniforms, building strong relationships with their accounts.
