Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. With operations across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske and its associates help businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs. We are proud to haul freight for some of the world's leading brands, representing more than just the iconic yellow trucks.
This position offers an immediate opportunity to join a team of professional truck drivers committed to delivering products safely and on time. As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety features like inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras.
Your primary mission is to deliver palletized groceries to local grocery stores. A key advantage of this role is that pallet breakdown is not required, allowing you to focus on the road. You will be on the move with a stable, nationwide company known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. When you drive for Penske, you are representing both the company and your clients, often driving their branded trucks and wearing their uniforms.
Ready to put your truck-driving career in high gear? This role offers a 4-day work week (Friday through Monday) with an 11 PM start time, ensuring you are home daily. We offer a 5th and/or 6th day incentive for those looking to earn extra. Beyond the schedule, you will be part of a culture that values incredible customer service and building relationships with your accounts.
We provide tons of training opportunities to help you grow, and with locations across the nation, you have the flexibility to move to a new city if you choose. We pay every Friday and are committed to keeping our associates and their families happy, healthy, and secure through a comprehensive benefits plan.
To join our team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes a review of past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; therefore, the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
