About the Role
This position offers an opportunity to drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety features like inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will deliver palletized groceries to local stores on a Friday through Monday schedule with a 2 PM start time. A key aspect of this role is that pallet breakdown is not required, allowing you to focus on the road.
When you drive for Penske, you are representing both Penske and your clients, often driving their branded trucks and wearing their uniforms. The role emphasizes incredible customer service and building relationships with your accounts. You will be part of a stable, nationwide company known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. Hiring Process
To join the team, candidates must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. The position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive, requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
