Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske helps businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs. We are more than just the yellow trucks; we are a team of professional drivers committed to delivering products safely and on time for some of the world's leading brands.
As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. This role is designed for drivers who value consistency and home time, offering a schedule that allows you to be home daily. You will drive late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras.
Your day will involve unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, while using scanners to track products as they are delivered. Typically, you will complete two stops per route. Beyond the driving, this role is about building relationships with your accounts and representing both Penske and your clients, often driving their branded trucks and wearing their uniforms.
Joining Penske means joining a stable, nationwide company known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. We offer tons of training opportunities, and with locations across the nation, you have the flexibility to move to a new city as your career grows. We pay every Friday, and for most driving positions, you are home daily.
To join our team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes a review of past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive, requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
