About the Opportunity

Dollar Tree is seeking a dedicated CDL-A driver to support its logistics network out of Cowpens, South Carolina. This role is designed for drivers who thrive in an active environment and value a consistent schedule that allows them to return home weekly.

The Role

As a dedicated driver, you will operate top-of-the-line sleeper trucks equipped with automatic transmissions, pulling 53' dry trailers. Your primary responsibility involves delivering freight to locations across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, and Ohio. On average, you will complete three loads per week, making three stops per load and covering approximately 1,100 miles.

This position requires hand-unloading trailers using rollers, offering a dynamic driving experience. When backhauling to the Distribution Center, you will typically handle no-touch live loads. Drivers have the flexibility to take their trucks home for parking, provided it is safe and secure; those living near Cowpens also have access to designated parking facilities for the equipment.

Schedule and Compensation

You can expect a 34-hour reset weekly, with days off falling either from Friday night to Saturday or Saturday night to Sunday. Compensation is structured around mileage and stop pay, complemented by a competitive benefits package including health insurance, dental, life insurance, AD&D, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
