As a Full-time Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. Your day will involve unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, while using a scanner to track products as they are delivered.
You will drive late-model Penske maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. The schedule is rotating, typically running from midnight to 6 am, with drivers expected to be away from home 2 to 3 days per week. You can expect 2 to 3 layovers per week, with a pattern of 4 days one week and 6 days the next.
To join our team, you must complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and pass a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
