When you join Penske, you become part of a team of professional truck drivers committed to delivering products safely and on time. This role requires maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. You will be on the move with Penske, and so will your career; the company offers tons of training opportunities and locations across the nation, allowing you to move to a new city if desired.
You can expect to be home daily with a schedule of four to five days of work followed by two consecutive days off. Schedule flexibility is required to serve the health providers in the communities where we live and work. Penske is known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. We pay every Friday, and for most of our driving positions, you are home daily.
To join the team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
