When you join Penske, you join a team of professional truck drivers committed to delivering products safely and on time. We are proud to haul freight for some of the world's leading brands. While you may be driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms, you are representing both your clients and the Penske legacy of incredible customer service and relationship building.
As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort. These vehicles feature inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety for all. Your day will involve 3 to 4 no-touch deliveries, utilizing drop and hook and live unload methods.
This role is designed for those ready to put their truck-driving career in high gear. You will be on the move with a stable, nationwide company known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. With locations across the nation, you also have the opportunity to move to a new city as your career progresses.
It's more than just driving; it's about fueling your career with tons of training opportunities and a schedule that keeps you home daily. We pay every Friday, and for most of our driving positions, you are home every night. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that keeps associates and their families happy, healthy, and secure, including paid vacation and holidays from day one, generous retirement benefits, and excellent health care coverage.
To join our team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; therefore, the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
