About the Role
As a Class B CDL Truck Driver in Knoxville, TN, you will operate a straight truck delivering high-touch medical supplies. This is a local, home-daily position where you run in the local area on a Monday through Friday schedule. You will be the "Captain of the Ship," making critical decisions to ensure the safety of yourself and others while protecting your job when you do so.
The equipment you drive is 36 months or newer and includes support features like 24/7 roadside maintenance. You will have access to fuel up at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide. The role involves loading and unloading freight, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks, stair walkers, and forklifts. A TWIC card is preferred but not required, and Ryder will reimburse the cost if needed.
