About the Role
This position is responsible for operating commercial vehicles to haul aggregate materials, including soil, sand, gravel, and asphalt, between job sites, production facilities, and customer locations. The role is critical in supporting construction and material production operations while ensuring strict compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. You will be the face of our operations on the road, maintaining vehicle safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness to keep our projects moving forward efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOperate commercial vehicles to haul aggregate materials between job sites and facilities
- check_circleConduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational readiness
- check_circleReport vehicle defects, maintenance needs, or safety concerns promptly to the maintenance team
- check_circlePrepare and complete bills of lading, delivery tickets, and transportation documentation accurately
- check_circleMaintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and job documentation in compliance with regulations
- check_circleCommunicate regularly with supervisors and dispatch regarding delivery schedules and job site conditions
- check_circleEmbrace safety culture and adhere to all company safety initiatives and policies
- check_circleAssist with loading and unloading materials using heavy equipment like loaders or skid steers
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or GED preferred
- verifiedValid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements
- verifiedValid DOT medical certificate
- verified2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
- verifiedAbility to read, write, and understand English
Nice to Have
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience). 2+ years of commercial driving experience. Construction experience. Experience operating various types of vehicles/combinations. Previous experience in construction, aggregate hauling, or a similar industry. Experience operating and hauling with belly dumps, side dumps, end dumps, water trucks, and similar equipment.
