Join one of the fastest-growing cities in Alaska, beautiful Wasilla, for an exciting 3-month travel assignment with a pediatric outpatient clinic. This role offers the flexibility to extend your stay or transition into a direct hire position if desired.
You will work with an all-pediatric caseload in a large, up-to-date facility. Much of your caseload will involve developmental delays and feeding issues among younger patients, many of whom are in foster homes. The clinic is renowned for its expertise in feeding and sensory integration, offering speech, OT, and PT services across multiple locations in the area.
This position requires the ability to evaluate patients, plan, and execute effective, goal-oriented treatment plans. You will also need to communicate successfully with caregivers, guardians, and parents to achieve the best outcomes for your patients. The role may involve traveling between clinics and utilizing telehealth formats as required.
PediaStaff delivers flexible staffing solutions in pediatric and educational settings. We are committed to your success with a select team of Clinical Resource Specialists available to support you throughout your assignment. We offer excellent hourly rates and per diem allowances based on IRS eligibility, along with options for continuing education, licensure, malpractice, and relocation.
Please note that we cannot accept Clinical Fellows (CFs) at this time. To apply, ensure you hold a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology, a current Alaska state license (or eligibility), and your CCC. Strong written and oral communication skills and previous pediatric experience (including fieldwork) are essential.
