About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a 14-week travel assignment at a facility in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. In this role, you will deliver critical respiratory interventions and support to patients with acute respiratory problems, while also providing routine care for chronic respiratory disorders. You will assist in the treatment and management of patients with common pulmonary conditions such as asthma, COPD, and pneumonia.
Your day will involve examining patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders, performing diagnostic tests, and administering treatments including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy. Beyond clinical duties, you will set up and monitor equipment to ensure precise oxygen delivery and educate patients and families on the proper usage of respiratory therapies and devices. You will work under the guidance of physicians or Registered Respiratory Therapists to implement and adjust patient treatment plans, observing and recording patient status and progress.
