About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a 26-week travel assignment at a facility in Anacortes, Washington. In this role, you will deliver respiratory interventions and support for patients with acute respiratory problems, while providing routine care for chronic respiratory disorders. You will assist in the treatment and management of patients with common pulmonary conditions such as asthma, COPD, and pneumonia.
Your day will involve examining patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders, performing diagnostic tests, and administering respiratory treatments including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy. You will set up and monitor equipment to ensure patients receive the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate, while also observing and recording patient status and progress. A key part of your mission is educating patients and their families on the proper usage of respiratory therapies and devices.
