The Role Context

This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse to join a team in Lexington, Nebraska, working a 13-week travel assignment in a Long-Term Care (LTC) Nursing Home setting. The role is designed for clinicians who thrive in a small, critical-access environment where versatility is key.

You will provide direct nursing care to OB/L&D patients, including labor, delivery, postpartum, and well-baby care. In this setting, you will monitor fetal status and maternal vitals, administer medications, and assist with obstetric procedures while supporting patient safety and comfort. A significant part of your day will involve collaborating with obstetric teams, nurses, and ancillary staff to document assessments and progress in Cerner. You will also support discharge planning, newborn care, lactation education, and family-centered care.

Because of the nature of the facility, you will be expected to float to OB/antenatal and Med/Surg areas as needed to support operations. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys variety and is comfortable adapting to the dynamic needs of a critical-access setting.
