About the Role

You will join a fast-paced Adult and Geriatric unit caring for a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, spine, general surgery, GYN, and bariatric post-op patients. The unit is high-volume, typically handling 10-20 post-operative admissions daily, with occasional overflow from medical units. As a Night Shift nurse (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), you will manage multiple admissions and discharges per shift, utilizing cardiac and O2 monitoring capabilities. The role requires a blend of medical and surgical skills, with a specific focus on wound vacs and orthopedic care.

This is an auto-offer position; you will likely receive an offer without a prior facility interview, though interviews can be arranged upon request. Offers require a definitive "Yes" or "No" response within 24 hours. To expedite onboarding, please upload all certifications and health documents to your profile immediately. Candidates must be able to complete required labs within 48 hours of signing. Two manager or supervisor references from the last 12 months and proof of identification are mandatory.

Scheduling & Contract Details

You will be working a 13-week contract with self-scheduling subject to manager approval. The schedule includes every other weekend. While block scheduling is not guaranteed, you may request 4-7 days off, provided you are willing to make up that time to fulfill the full contract. Holiday requests are limited to one day per contract, subject to facility holidays in 2026 and 2027. A 14-day start restriction applies.
